The 2016 Quilt Show Boutique is building inventory, but don’t stop now! Keep working on your contributions! We have a few small quilts and wall hangings, table runners, Christmas ornaments, kits and more. We have begun to compile a box of fabric to sell (please make the pieces regular cuts-no funky edges where you cut off circles for a project) - fat quarter minimum size-please label the size of each piece. As we approach the quilt show dates here are a few details for dropping off your boutique contributions. I (Cindy Matthews) am unable to take additional inventory at my house until much closer to the show date. So here are several drop off options for you, in order preference:
1) Drop off your items at the Boutique, after noon on November 3rd – the set up day for the quilt show.
2) Deliver your items to Cindy Matthews at the October Guild meeting.
3) Make special arrangements with Cindy prior to the quilt show. Cindy’s number is in the membership book.
If at all possible please price your items –pricing someone else’s donations is amazingly difficult and stressful. Cindy will have price tags at the upcoming guild meetings.
And now for a favor. To add a special touch to the Boutique purchases – we’d like to send customers off with their items in something other than a plastic shopping bag. How many of you have a bin of gift bags or handled bags from boutique stores that you’ve saved, but never gotten around to using? Are they themed for a baby shower, wedding, floral, plain, Christmas, kid birthday, Nordstroms, Macys, Randalls, etc? We’ll take them! Please consider donating them to the Boutique.
