Members of our guild are making blocks and quilts for the organization Quilts of Honor. Click for information on how you can help.

L to R -

Jan Herdrich, Christina Gibb, Linda Lebow, Marian Lassettre

Holding the blue quilt with the dolphins is Joan Jordan, next with the cloud quilt is Sue Donahue, next to Sue is Fran Commons. Who is hiding ?

We are making 40 pillowcases for CASA children (children in foster care who are getting ready to exit the system-children nearing or at 18 years of age).
The work days will be in the next 2 months.
The fabric will be purchased by a guild member with funds donated to the Guild. Who would like to shop for the fabric?
The Lodi Community Concerns has agreed to fund the purchase of fabric to make the 40 pillow cases with gros grain ribbons to convert it to a laundry bag. They will issue a $170 gift certificate to Wal-Mart for fabric, thread and ribbon.

Kennel Cushions For Our Local
Animal Shelters

Pamela Mathers, Guild member, makes the kennel

cushions for our local animal shelters. She was able

to donate 256 last year, and is trying for at least

that number this year. The cat

cushions and fleece blankets

for the dogs are easy to make.

We quilt so others can smile ...

I always appreciate volunteers.
